Walt Disney World will be busy finishing up the new Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which opens later this year, and the future Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in 2019.
But there are other projects that fans should keep an eye on for this year that will also revamp the theme park’s future.
The Walt Disney Co.’s (NYSE: DIS) Orlando theme parks are busy in a investment cycle that’s part of what executives have pegged at more than $1 billion in worldwide spending — much of that in the parks. Over the next several years, that spending will be focused here in Orlando as Disney brings to life a series of new attractions and experiences that will push theme park visitation to new levels.
